DTE acquires AB Karl Hedin Emballage
Dansk Træemballage A/S (DTE) has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in AB Karl Hedin Emballage, including its subsidiaries. The transaction will be completed on May 9, 2025.
AB Karl Hedin Emballage will continue to operate under its current name and brand, with Oskar Ryno remaining as CEO. The acquisition means that we become part of the largest manufacturer of wood packaging in the Nordic region, creating new opportunities to further develop our offering to customers across the Nordics.
DTE has approximately 625 employees, annual revenue of SEK 1.9 billion, and production facilities in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, as well as a trading company in Germany. Together with our ten production facilities in Sweden and one in Estonia, and around 275 employees, we strengthen our joint position in the Nordic market.
